Welcome and thanks for calling
Credo
When I read over my writing, it seems to me that it is all about politics. I like to think I am humourist, trying to make make people laugh and at least, I hope, making them smile. But the target of my wit, such as it is, is the immense stupidity of the people who run our society, and the catalogue of their failures. And yet I don't even know if I have the right to criticise, having never been a political activist myself.
The world is made up of those who do and those who watch, and, I'm afraid, I've been a watcher all my life. But, like everyone else, I am leaving this world to my grandchildren. The actual arrival of these grandchildren has made me wonder what exactly it is we are leaving them - and the answer is not too encouraging. Maybe all I can do is to point out to them and their parents how my own generation got it wrong. It's not much, but it's something.
MY LATEST NEWS
My 3 e-books are available from both Amazon and Smashwords. Right now I am completing a new adult novel called The Redemption of Anna Petrovna, and I am putting together an English textbook which will have a guide for foreign students who are preparing to study in the U.K. You can preview some information from this guide on the ELT page on this site.
On the filming side, I have just completed a 3 minutes short which can be seen on my 'AllOneWorld' web site for international cooperation , as well as on my you-tube channel, and I'd like to thank the two young actresses Miriam Sully and Michelle McKay who gave up their time and helped me make it. I have also been working with film director and producer James Robson, shooting an editing the first of a series of monthly film reviews for a news website.
As I mentioned before, I have set up a Web Site for International Cooperation to encourage people to be abandon narrow nationalistic views and to think more of the good of the world as a whole. I am hoping others will join me in this venture and if it appeals to you pleases take a look at the site and contact me.
